Blueprint to Create 1000% ROI in your Fashion Business

April 16, 2016 Agustina 0 Comments

blueprint-to-create-100-return-on-your-investment-in-your-fashion-businessToday I’m popping in to share the Blueprint for Success that one of my clients uses.

By showing this I just want to show you what’s possible for you!

Before Marcy came to me, she was very confused with how to continue with her fashion line. She’d just come back from a show she invested in, and she’d made zero return on that investment. She was so sad and devastated, and I knew exactly how she felt because I could still remember when I came back from swim shows without making a single sale.

But I could see that Marcy was very committed to her success! She was meeting with other fashion business experts, and she was told to do things that I thought were completely out of reach, things that could only be done if she already had a lot of money in the bank.

This wasn’t her case, though, so we started with what we had.

The first step in her business transformation was working on her Mindset. Mindset is huge!

I know you might think you want to get straight to the action and start creating marketing strategies, but taking care of a internal transformation is what made Marcy’s success inevitable.

In one of our calls she came to me with an Inspired Idea, something she’d taken action on without telling me first (which I love, since I’ve come to find that all the information is already inside you; the problem is that it’s buried so deep that it’s hard to find).

So, she took action and created her VIP Facebook Group, creating a different video each day showcasing different styles she was selling.

This group grew, and fast! In less than a month she reached 1,000 people in her group!

And here comes the part that I feel made the big difference: she wasn’t posting just any video. Marcy was posting videos that showed her group members how to use the items she was offering, and in those videos she was completely herself!

People fell in love with her personality, and that’s why they began to buy from her.

In just one month after she took this inspired action, she made 20K in sales. That blew our minds!

But it showed us what was possible in such a short amount of time.

And guess what? We both agreed that this wouldn’t have been possible if we hadn’t spent time working on her Mindset!

After all, anything you believe you are capable of doing, is possible.

So take a look at this Blueprint for Success, and consider whether it might work for you!

Just keep in mind, while this blueprint might not work for everyone, there is something that is guaranteed:

If you want to make money, you need to become visible and just be you!

How fun is that? You’re going to get paid to be yourself!

I know it’s a challenge, for some, to make themselves visible. But let me tell you this: by hiding yourself and your amazing products, you’re are not making money!

So if there’s anything that you absolutely need to know about this blueprint, it’s that my client was consistent with her posting in her group, and she was consistent with being herself.

No magic pill, you just get to act natural and be yourself!

Do you want something similar to my client’s success?

These are the steps you need to follow:

Work on Your Mindset: know that success is possible for you, too!
Create a Facebook Group: they’re the new Business Pages! They allow you to interact and engage with potential customers and offer them sales. (This is important: if you post to engage, but you don’t offer anything, then you won’t make any money!)
Create Videos: they’re the fastest way for people to get to know you!
Build Relationships: think of your potential customers as your friends. In fact, most of them could be considered very close friends, since they’re likely to be similar to you!

If you follow these steps, you will have success!

The best part? It doesn’t have to take too long!

In fact, it took Marcy only two months to make 20K, and now she’s having great sales month after month!

The last and most important step of this blueprint is that Marcy invested in herself and her business.

Investing is a huge component to your success. The reason it’s so big is that you have to be able to trust in yourself and be willing to do things that you normally wouldn’t do by yourself.

And when you do this, you become unstoppable!

That’s why if you want to have 1000% ROI (Return on Investment) you need to invest first!

Not to mention having 1:1 accountability, which, for me, was huge in my own success. That’s why I make sure that when I work with someone, I’m there for them!

Hope this inspired you to take action!

To your fabulous success,

How to Price Your Fashion Products and Services

March 26, 2016 Agustina 0 Comments

how-to-price-your-fashion-products-and-servicesPricing has been one of my biggest challenges for my swimwear business. And what I have to say by the end of this story might surprise you.

When I launched my swim line, I began by selling to friends and friends of friends. So, of course, my prices were low because I was just getting started, and there was no real structure behind my process that justified a big price.

Besides, there is always a learning curve in making a better product or service, so it makes sense that prices increase when the product gets better…at least, that’s what I thought.

I remember fighting with my husband because he wanted me to raise my prices. At the time, my swimwear was priced at under $100.00, and I was super scared because I thought, if I raised the price, nobody would buy them.

So I didn’t touch my prices for quite some time. And, during that time, I was mostly operating at wholesale, so my profit margin was very low, but it barely made a difference in my sales.

And, to be honest, I still think this way, that you cannot expect to have higher prices with an inconsistent brand. (Earlier this week, I sent out an email about branding; if you haven’t read it yet, you might want to make time! Branding has a lot to do with how you set your prices.)

Here’s what I found: the moment I updated my website (with Shopify,) and began to work on a more cohesive branding system, I raised my prices.

And, suddenly, I had more people buying from me than ever before!

It blew my mind! I raised my prices almost 100%, and still customers were buying more!

So, how could that happen?

It’s very simple: I worked on my branding, and I worked inside the experience my customers were having with my brand.

So let’s talk about experience, because this is huge! And not only does it relate to product, but also to the selling of services.

When I say “experience,” I’m referring to the experience someone has from the moment she lands on your website, to the moment she decides to buy from you.

And this is a journey you need to create.

How do you do that?

Easy. Put yourself in the shoes of your Dream Customer, and think about the experience itself.

How would you like the website to look? What kind of freebie should you have in order for the customer to leave their email? And what kind of follow-up sequence would she like to receive?

But wait; there are more things you can add to make the experience even better!

What about making a point to add a more personal touch? It could be something as simple as an email sent from you to her (something that can be delegated) asking what she likes about your website.

You’ve heard me say this many times, and I’ll say it one more time! People love doing business with other people!

In fact, the age where people do business with impersonal businesses is dying; even large companies are becoming more personal.

Which means that the more personalized you can make your business, and the more personal connections you make, the better!

This is why doing something like creating a Facebook Group can work great; because you have a chance to interact and appear more “human.”

Which in turn gives you a personal connection that can make you money.

So now that you know this and you’re thinking about the experience…think about the different ways you can make your customer’s experience more personal.

Great customer service is a must; maybe you can add a “chat” feature on your website, so when someone has a question, there’s somebody they can ask.

Talk about a great experience!!!!

But this is just the beginning. Once a customer buys, there is still another experience she needs to go through.

And this experience should wow her! Because it’s only when you get to wow her that she will become a raving fan, which means she will talk about you to everyone she knows!

Talk about good marketing!

So now you know: prices have nothing to do with the product itself, but rather the experience your customer has with your brand. If you want to raise your prices, you have to raise this experience your customer has, as well.

A final piece of advice: never, ever decrease your prices. If you feel that people are not buying from you because of your prices, start thinking, instead, about the way you can raise the experience!

I hope this blog post helps you in some way. I also know that price is a big topic, if you still have any questions about it, please email me!

I’m here to help!

Why Branding for your Fashion Business Really Matters

March 24, 2016 Agustina 0 Comments

why-branding-mattersAs fashionistas, we all know that having great branding is a must.

Inside my Facebook Community, I’m constantly looking at other people’s websites, and I have to be honest: a few times, I find myself very surprised at the look of someone else’s website.

And here’s the thing: there are thousands of people (or more) who are doing the exact same things as you. Which means that in order to stand out, you need to have stellar branding.

And by “branding,” I don’t only mean your website.

For me, branding is just more than a good-looking website. Branding is also your message, and all of the images that you share online.

There needs to be consistency, and everything needs to match: always use the same colors, the same kinds of images, and always the same fonts.

So if you’re writing a Facebook post, then the image should also have a similar style to the images on your website, including, as noted, always using the same colors and the same fonts.

And this should be done for everything you post online.

People should have a cohesive experience.

From the moment they land on your website, to when they sign up to your email list; from the emails they receive, to the social media posts they see from you!

As I mentioned before, as fashionistas targeting other fashionistas, this is super important! We like visuals, and we have good taste, don’t we? :)

So let me ask you this: which brand will give you more confidence to buy from, one that appears randomly pieced together, with no common aesthetic to their branding, or a cohesive-looking website with nice branding that actually matches?

You know which one, right?

And if you don’t get this part of your business right, then you won’t be able to play with the big guys.

And I believe that playing big is super easy!

Today, you can build a great-looking website in just a few days, and for a very low investment; talk about playing big, right?

Yet when I share this idea with people, they don’t want to invest even a $29 monthly fee just to have a good looking website! Unfortunately, if this is you, you will never make it; yes, that’s bad news :(

But think about it: how are you going to make it big if you’re unwilling to invest such a small fee to grow your business?

It breaks my heart to see people who, deep down, I know won’t make it, simply because they’re unwilling to invest in themselves and their brand.

And if you keep treating your business as a hobby, then you certainly won’t make it.

Every business owner knows: you need to invest to make money.

Of course, branding is just one piece of the puzzle. Just because your branding is great, doesn’t mean your sales will be great.

With branding comes promotions and marketing, which means sharing your brand every single day. When you do this and your brand looks good, then people will start paying attention.

And that’s what’s important: your dream customer paying attention! And remember, we all have different dream customers.

For example, my dream customer likes pink, but chances are that yours prefers green, or purple, or maybe pink just turns her off!

So you need to understand who you are marketing to, so she feels attracted to you.

This is why branding is so important. You want the right people to feel attracted to you, and the people who are not your dream customers might not be the “right people” for you. And that’s okay!

If you’re really serious about making it happen for yourself, you must work on your branding!

To recap:

Always use similar types of pictures.

Always use the same colors. (Three colors is good, and always have one that remains dominant.)

Always use the same fonts.

If you do this for every single post, email, and everything else you send to your customers, then they will perceive your brand so much better!

After all,  it’s all about perception.

To your success,

Thinking Outside the Box in your Fashion Business Will Bring in Money

March 19, 2016 Agustina 0 Comments

Thinking outside the box will bring you in money in your Fashion BusinessYears ago, when I was just starting to learn everything I know now about Modern Marketing, I was doing a program where most of the people participating were service-based providers.

I remember the mentor saying, “…don’t think that because you have a product-based business that you need to do things any different than a service-based business.”

Funny thing is, even after hearing this, when listening to a new training session my mind usually went to that place…this applies to service-based business, there is no way I can apply this to my swim biz!

Can you relate? Have you ever learned a strategy and not taken action because you thought it wouldn’t apply to your biz?

Now I’m on the other side as well. I have a service-based business and product-based business, and for the last 2 ½ years I’ve been concentrating on different strategies to apply to my service biz.

Amazing strategies by the way!!!

And, you know something…Now I’m mentoring my product-based business clients to take action on these strategies, and they are having amazing success!

It wasn’t until now that I began to finally understand what my mentor said to me years ago.

When you do things because other Fashion Brands are doing them, you become one of many.

However, when you do things differently, in unexpected ways, that’s when potential customers start to pay attention.

So, now this has become one of my areas of expertise.

When you apply unexpected strategies to your business you WILL STAND OUT, and you’ll be seen as a leader and innovator.

After all, I truly believe that we can make money not only doing what we LOVE, but doing it on our own terms!

If having a big office full of employees is your thing, then you can have that!

If working less than 20 hours a week is your thing, then that’s possible too!

It won’t happen immediately, but if you make a plan and take action, it can happen!

It will happen by not only being more YOU and standing out from the crowd, but by building your community, or what I like to call “Raving Fans”! Those who love you, relate to you, feel like you are their friend, and talk to everyone about you and your Fashion Brand.

That can happen pretty fast…it doesn’t have to take a long time. In fact, it can take less than a year!

That’s right, in less than a year you can become the next “It” Fashion Brand.

Now, the question is: Are you available to invest in the shortcut to success and take massive action now?
